At Thrive Early Learning Academy, we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce some exciting changes to our enrollment process. We’re moving away from the traditional waiting list that we have used in the past. and adopting a more inclusive and accessible approach with open enrollment. In this blog post, we’ll walk you through the new process, whether you’re a new parent looking to enroll your child, or a current Thrive family interested in what’s in store.
Open Enrollment for New Families
If you’re a new parent eager to enroll your child at Thrive, you’ll be delighted to know that you no longer need to wait on a cumbersome waiting list. Here’s how our open enrollment process works:
- Application Period: Starting on January 2nd, the application forms will be available on our website. Simply visit our website. Click the provided link. Fill out the application.
- Review and Notification: Our team will carefully review all applications and then notify parents via email. You’ll receive an invitation for a special playdate and evaluation session.
- Playdate & Evaluation: During the playdate, your child will have the opportunity to interact with their potential teachers and fellow Thrive students. It’s important to note that this is not a formal test. Instead, we’ll be observing your child’s behavior, interactions, and mannerisms in a relaxed and playful environment.
Current Thrive Families
For our current Thrive families, here’s how the open enrollment process will affect you:
- Priority Registration: In early January, you’ll receive a “priority registration” form. This form will allow you to indicate your desired schedule for the upcoming school year. Please return it promptly, as we will prioritize accommodating your current children’s schedules.
- Additional Days: If you believe you may need more days than you currently have, we recommend signing up for the maximum number you think you might require. While we can always adjust downward, it’s challenging to provide additional days if we’re already at full capacity.
- Transition to Kindergarten: If your child is preparing to transition to kindergarten, we highly recommend a minimum of three days a week, if not five. Our consistent and nurturing program can effectively prepare your child for the next educational step.
Conclusion: We’re enthusiastic about these changes to our enrollment process. Open enrollment ensures that more children have the chance to experience our loving, educational environment. We want to reassure all parents that the evaluation process is not meant to be intimidating but rather a fun and casual opportunity for us to get to know your child better.
We’re grateful for the trust and support of our current Thrive families and look forward to welcoming new additions to our Thrive community. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email or social media. We’re here to assist you throughout the enrollment process.
We’re excited about the upcoming school year, and we can’t wait to continue helping children learn, grow, and thrive at Thrive. Thank you for being a part of our Thrive family. We look forward to a wonderful journey ahead. See you soon!
